Nuvali is a paradise.  The residences are nice.  The entire area is upscale.  Across the road from the main entrance to Ridgeview Estates is the mansion of Imelda Marcos, former first lady of the Philippines.  The land is higher in Ridgeview Estates than in the surroundings, making it far less likely to flood.

Ridgeview Estates is a 26-hectare (64-acre) residential community in Nuvali, a master-planned development in Brgy. Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna.  Nestled within the South's picturesque surroundings, Nuvali is less than an hour's drive from Makati City through the Sta. Rosa exit of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).  It is along the Sta. Rosa-Tagatay Road.  Residents are given special access through the Mamplasan exit.  There is also a transport terminal where shuttle services are available.  Commuting is never a problem.

Security is excellent at Rudgeview Estates Nuvali,  At all times, 24 hours a day, there are about six armed security officers on duty.  Security at the entrance gate is tight.  If you are expecting a visitor, notify security in advance.  If unexpected visitors arrive, their identification will be checked.  You will then receive a call from security.  If you approve of the visitors, a security officer on motorcycle will escort them to your house.  Residents of Ridgeview Estates Nuvali are identified by a sticker on their windshield, and the gate will be opened for residents without further inquiry.

The clubhouse is available for functions.  There is a large swinning pool.  To cover maintenance, it costs 50 pesos (one dollar) to use.
